The result of badly set ducting

This is what happens most of the time, as the ducts are usually improperly set

 


 

 

Almost every freestanding stove has ill designed connections, including some of the models we sell
 whenever necessary we do some changes to ensure it works properly, and to prevent leakage and the release of unpleasant odors.

Problems: regular steel isn’t ideal to withstand the heat; the connection of the pipes was made with an unsuitable component; the connection at 45º
 was improperly set

Problem: pipe connection made with unsuitable component

 

Improperly installed exterior iron duct, where you can see the outcome – rust, due to the bad quality of the duct
 

Problem: besides the duct poor quality, the (unsuitable) chimney used ended up stuck due to the creosote and soot

 

 
 

Occurring condensation dripping along the exterior pipe

Curve of a hard stainless steel duct passing through the exterior (the curved part has already been removed). We can see the damage it has caused to the stonework.

Problem: the curved piece used wasn’t suitable, as well as the duct.
